stay of charges

I am currently registered with psc to get a pardon.

What i would like to know is if you have a suspended sentence and also a stay of charges before your 18th birthday would that not be shielded by the youth protection act so you can go to the USA if you so desire.

Dangerous operations

Hi I was charged with Dangerous operations of a moter vehicle. I can't figure out if this will prevent me from entering the U.S. or not. I am planning a trip to Vegas so if you have any advice on what I could do that would be great. I received a suspended license and about a year of probation.

OK so here is my ?. If you are convicted of a sexual offense. And you are on the registry list are you still eligible for a pardon? Or do you have to wait until you are off of it.

Waiver or pardon

I traveled to the States after I was charged but before conviction (was NOT denied entry but was warned that if convicted I would require a waiver to enter).

I am just starting my pardon process, if I complete the pardon process before I try to re-enter the USA will I require a waiver.(I have not try to re-enter since that time.)

If someone was charged with possession of marijuana (2 grams) they went through the an Adult diversion program, and the charges were withdrawn, will this stop them from entering the states?

If I was born in the USA and have lived in Canada my entire life & have Canadian Citizenship, will there be a problem crossing the border into the USA if I am convicted on a Domestic Assault charge? As a US citizen can I be held at the border or do I have the ability to cross still?

I obtain my pardon 20 years ago.

But i was arrested and convicted 10 years ago.

Can a apply for a another pardon ?

Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offense x4 Counts - 2003

Robbery - 2005

Now for the robbery, it happened about 3 years ago, but it took 3 full years to get a plea, so I've been to court A LOT. Since I finalized Robbery in Court June 2008, can I still apply for a pardon?

Care and Control and Blowing Over .80mg Pardon?

Hello,

I will be pleading guilty to a Care and Control charge in the next few months and I was wondering if I would be eligible for a pardon? I recently completed Police Foundations as I wanted to get into some sort of law enforcement field but I think it's pretty much over given my newly formed criminal record.

Anyways I was wondering how long it would take after conviction to receive a pardon? The penalty for a Care and Control conviction is 12 months driving prohibition and $700 fine. I've never been in trouble with the police before and this would be my very first conviction.

two questions about pardons

hello, i have just been granted a pardon and have a couple questions, any help is greatly appreciated.

1)when i apply for a job that does a criminal record check, what does the employer see now that i have a pardon?

why i ask this is that i completely hated how the police records showed my background.

for example -

i was up for five charges against me. but in the end four of the charges were dropped and i was only convicted with one of the five charges.

but, when i last was sent to the RCMP by an future employer to get my police records, i got this print out.

on the print out, all five charges were listed, with a little line at the bottom saying "all charges except charge number five were dropped"

this really bugged me because the charges that were dropped should not have been listed. it only should have shown the charge that i was convicted with.

so i really want to know what an employer will see when i get police records or have a check done.

are they going to see all five charges, and a little line at the bottom saying, "pardon granted"?

or will they see no charges, and a line saying "pardon granted for previous unlisted charges"?

or will it be blank and they will see nothing? which means i dont have to disclose anything to my future employer if i dont want to.

2)what do i need to do now that i have pardon to update records?

why i ask is that i applied for a job last year that used a third party background check service. the service created a file for me, and told my employer about all the charges listed on my record. which goes back to my anger about my first question, because even though i was only charged once, the employer was told about all five listed charges.

so, do i need to find out what service the employer used and call them up and get them to update their records?

is there anything else i need to do with the RCMP, police or anyone else to update with my pardon status?
